お好み焼き Okonomiyak recipe

Okonomiyaki Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour

1/3 Potato starch/or Yam starch
1/2 Chicken stock/ or water
1 teaspoon Mirin
2 Eggs
3 cups thin strips cabbage
1/2 cup Corn
1/2 cup Shrimp
1/2 of octopus testicles
1 teaspoon Red color pickled ginger
3 stalks chopped Green onion
1 teaspoon Vegetable oil
8 strips of thin slice pork
Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes)
Mayonnaise
Okonomi Sauce
Aonori (Seaweed Flakes)

Preparation:
1. Whisk flour, starch, Mirin, and chicken stock together.
2. Add Eggs, Cabbage, Corn, Shrimp, Octopus testicles, Pickled ginger, green onion together.(Mix gently).
3. Add Vegetable oil (the reason to add oil to it is to prevent flour stick on the pan).
4. Heat the pan, add vegi oil, wait until it's heated, but do not overheat the oil or when you pour the ingredients in it will cook too fast and burn, so the oil is heated you want to turn it to medium heat.
5. Pour the mix ingredients, use a spatula to make it flat and round but don't press it.
6. Place the Pork strips on the okonomiyaki. (i only put two strips on each cake, you can put as many or to cover the cake as you like).
7. wait for 2 to 3 minutes, flip over the cake (pork side down) and cook for 4 minus. Flip and make sure they are golden brown.
8. Place in plate and add 1.Katsuobushi (Bonito Flakes) 2.Mayonnaise 3.Okonomi Sauce 4.Aonori (Seaweed Flakes)

PS: i just realize to write an ingredient is way~ harder than to make the actual thing….冏 had me thinking…
